When I started my journey as a photographer, I wasn’t so keen on wedding photography because my ideology was clouded by my immediate environment and I wasn’t keen on being just a photographer that documents weddings for the sake of it.
Falling in love and getting married to the most beautiful woman in the world has shifted my perspective and I want to be the guy who is known for telling beautiful simple and true love stories with my images.
I want to create timeless images of two people genuinely in love without the complexities of everything that most people end of worrying about which aren’t as important to me - like outfits (what to wear), locations (going to the most visually appealing locations) which, let’s face it, might not be realistic for everyone, puts undue pressure sometimes and just ends up taking away the attention from what’s most important, the two people in love.
I want to create the most beautiful images from nothings.. and just be able to capture the raw, tangible magic of love, in whatever way the couple is comfortable presenting themselves - no makeup, snuggling in bed after a nap, a library date, grocery shopping, gardening together, heated sauna moments... these mundane moments are what I’m about. Because let’s face it, it’s what you’re going to be doing with your partner for your forevermores and what’s better than creating these real moments without societal pressures.
I want to be the guy that shows up at your doorstep and creates the most timeless, effortless images that would be carved into your memories forever.
